Youth Pastor

Employment Description:

Independent Baptist Church is seeking a full time Youth Pastor to oversee the planning, teaching, and discipleship of students grades 6-12.

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in youth/pastoral ministries, theology or related field
Comfortable teaching from KJV, or similar, approved, Bible translations
1-3 years experience

Responsibilities:
Plan activities and Biblically sound teaching for 10-35 students
Recruit and work with volunteers
Engage youth within the church community to grow youth department
Work with parents of students to facilitate growth and discipleship
Participate in planning for youth/children's camp and coordinate with other staff and volunteers
Actively engage multi-generational congregation
Sound steward of resources: time, money, and opportunity

Base Schedule:

Class and Regular Activities on Wednesday and Sunday, Office hours M-TH 9a-4p

Compensation:

$45-$55K, depending on experience
