Position/Title:

Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant—Part Time Hybrid Schedule

Employment Description:

Engineering firm is looking to add a highly organized Bookkeeper/administrative assistant to their team. The successful candidate will have the ability to operate in a very detailed and fast paced environment with accuracy. Administrative and QuickBooks experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED
1-3 years administrative and bookkeeping experience
Computer literacy
QuickBooks proficient
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Organized in approach to work and completion of tasks on time

RESPONSIBILITIES:
General clerical duties: Answering phones, answer general questions, scheduling appointments, filing and other duties as needed
Managing vendor files: Service agreements, I9s, Certificates of Insurnace, contact details
Prepare and update client files and service agreements
Complete and submit paperwork for city, county or state depending on job site
Accounts Receivable: Invoicing clients, sending out proposals, payment posting, review/follow on past due invoices
Accounts Payable: Manage incoming invoices, assign invoices to correct jobs, cut checks and pay invoices
Assist owner with projects and meeting preparation
Create social media posts, perform website maintenance and updates
Other duties as assigned
 

Base Schedule:

This is a HYBRID position-some hours working from your home office, and some hours in the company office.
Anticipated schedule: M-W-F 20 hours per week, during normal business hours. This schedule may vary depending on the owner/company needs.

Compensation:

$30-$35/hour depending on experience
