Reputable medical practice is seeking a highly organized and detailed full charge bookkeeper to manage financial records for multiple locations. Successful candidates will have strong experience in full charge bookkeeping, analytical skills, financial management, and payroll.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Accounting:
o Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
o Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Payroll Processing:
o Process payroll for all staff across multiple offices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
o Handle payroll taxes, deductions, and benefit contributions.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
o Monitor actual performance against budget, providing regular reports to management.
Financial Reporting:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
o Provide detailed analysis of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
o Prepare and file necessary tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other state and federal filings.
Accounts Management:
o Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment of bills and collection of receivables.
o Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
Vendor Relations:
o Maintain relationships with vendors addressing any billing or payment inquiries.
o Negotiate contracts and payment terms with vendors as needed.
Software and Systems:
o Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
o Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Experience in a healthcare or multi-office environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
o Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
o Strong understanding relevant accounting principles.
o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Certifications: Certified Online ProAdvisor with QuickBooks or equivalent is a plus.

Base Schedule:

M-F 8:30a-5p

Compensation:

$60,000-$80,000 depending on experience
