Local manufacturer is seeking a hands on, detail-oriented Materials Lab Technician to support polymer testing.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
*Perform standardized and custom testing on polymer materials
*Record and document test results
*Assist in routine cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of lab equipment
*Follow laboratory procedures and maintain a clean work environment
*Follow all safety policies, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry or related field
*Use of testing equipment: thermal analyzers, tensile testers, spectroscopy tools, and chromatography systems
*Educational or prior work experience in materials testing
Base Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Overtime as needed to meet production schedule
Compensation:
$24-28/hour DOE
