Drug & Alcohol Testing
Part 1
Purpose
To establish company policy as it pertains to substance use/abuse. Outline policy and procedure for conducting drugs/alcohol testing as it pertains to pre-employment, post accident, random, and reasonable suspicion.
Policy
Workforce Strategies, LLC, strives to provide a safe, productive, drug-free workplace for our employees and our clients. It is the policy of this company that no employee shall have on their person or in their body any substance or chemical metabolite that may impair their ability to safely and effectively perform their job. This includes but is not limited to: alcohol, illicit drugs, and/or narcotic prescription medication. Additionally, no employees shall have alcohol and/or drugs/narcotic medication on the ​Workforce Strategies, LLC, property, or the property of any ​Workforce Strategies, LLC, client.
Any employee found to possess or be under the influence of an impairing substance, (as described above) will be subject to disciplinary action resulting in immediate termination.

Procedure for Testing
1. All prospective employees of Workforce Strategies, LLC, will be required to submit to a pre employment drug test at an approved testing facility. Should the candidate receive a presumptive positive they will be given the option for additional testing, at their expense.

Workplace Injury Reporting
Purpose
To establish company policy as it pertains to reporting workplace injuries.
Policy
Workforce Strategies, LLC, strives to provide a safe, productive, drug-free workplace for our employees and our clients. It is the policy of this company that every employee shall follow established OSHA/TOSHA guidelines for safety procedures. Additionally, each employee will follow the safety policies established by the client to which they are assigned. Violation of any regulatory or company safety policy Will result in disciplinary action up to, and including termination.
Employees are required to report all injuries, no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. Additionally, employees are to report any information about an injury that they witness.
Procedure for Reporting an Injury
1. When an injury occurs, the area supervisor at the assigned job site should be notified immediately, and then the Workforce Strategies' employee should contact the office or the on call administrator via the cell phone number published.

1. All Employees should consistently report on time for work to ensure that workflow is not interrupted.

Purpose
To establish company policy as it pertains to attendance, tardiness, no call/no show, calling out.
Policy
Workforce Strategies, LLC strives to provide dependable, work ready employees to our clients. It is the policy of this company that every employee shall report regularly as assigned and on time. In the event the employee is unable to report to work they must follow the established call out procedure.

Any employee who does not adhere to the attendance policy/procedure will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
General Attendance
1. All employees are expected to be at the assigned work location for assigned shifts as scheduled, including overtime shifts.
2. Employees should arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the shift.
Ex: Arrive at 6:45 for a 7:00 shift start.

Calling Out
1 In the event an employee is unable toreport to work they must call to notify the Workforce Strategies

2. Call out notice should be given a minimum of 2 hours prior ot the beginning of the shift so that sufficient replacement may be found if needed.
3. Any employee who calls out 2 or more days due to illness will be required to provide a written doctors note.
No Call No Show
1. Any employee who failsto arrive at the assigned job location for a scheduled shift and does not call out as outlined above (see Calling Out) will be terminated for No Call No Show.

Purpose
To establish company policy and outline any available employment benefits and guidelines for special payments.
Policy
Workforce Strategies, LLC, provides direct hire recruiting services, and contract employees to our clients in various industries. Our contract employees are, in general, employed for a 90-day term, with no term longer than six months
The items listed below are not available to any contract employee or direct hire candidate through Workforce Strategies, LLC:
* Insurance - health, dental, vision, life, or other supplemental policies
* Paid time off
* Retirement programs – 401(k), IRA, or Pensions
* Paid sick time
* Paid holidays

Special payments, including, but not limited to, jury duty
Employees will be allowed excused absence from their job site for the service of jury duty. The jury duty summons must be provided to Workforce Strategies, LLC, no later than the day after it is received by the employee. Employees who fall under contract status, and are expected to be employed for less than six months, will not be eligible for compensation, in addition to what is paid by the court.

Employee Notice
Sexual harassment is prohibited by this Company and is against the law. Every employee should be aware of:
* What is sexual harassment?
* What steps to take if harassment occurs
* State law prohibiting retaliation for reporting sexual harassment.

How to Stop Sexual Harassment
1. When possible, simply tell the harasser to stop.
The harasser may not realize the advances or behavior are offensive. When it is appropriate and sensible, simply tell the harasser the behavior or advances are unwelcome and must stop.
2. You are strongly encouraged to report sexual harassment. Contact your supervisor, another manager or the human resources department representative.
Sexual harassment or retaliation should be reported in writing or verbally. You may report such activities even though you were not the subject of harassment.
3. An investigation will be conducted Workforce Strategies, LLC, will investigate, in a discreet manner, al reported incidents of sexual harassment and retaliation.
4. Appropriate action will be taken
Where evidence of sexual harassment or retaliation is found, disciplinary action, up to and including termination, may result.
What Is Sexual Harassment?
Although many people think of sexual harassment as involving a male boss and a female employee, not all sexual harassment is done by males. Sexual harassment often involves co-workers, other employees of Workforce Strategies, LLC, or other persons doing business with or for Workforce Strategies, LLC. It's against the law for females to sexually harass males or other females, and for males to harass other males or females.

Harassers Are Personally Liable
If you, as an employee, are found to have engaged in sexual harassment, or if you as a manager know or should have known about the conduct and condone or ratify it, you may be personally liable for monetary damages. This Company wil not pay damages assessed against you personally.

In addition, this Company will take appropriate disciplinary measures - termination is one possible action against any employee who engages in sexual harassment.
Federal Law
Under federal law, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment when:

1. Submission to such conduct is made eitherexplicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual's employment;
2. Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting such individual; or

Protection Against Retaliation
